A Roseburg man was jailed after a non-injury accident on Thursday.

An RPD report said shortly after 5:00 p.m. a woman was driving south on Southeast Rose Street.  At the intersection with Southeast Douglas Avenue, the 41-year-old drove through the intersection in front of a second vehicle, causing a crash in front of the Public Safety Center.

It was discovered that the driver of the vehicle hit switched places with his passenger directly after the wreck as he did not have an Oregon driver license. The 23-year-old was ultimately found to have a warrant for his arrest.

The driver who caused the accident was cited for failing to obey a traffic control device. The second driver was cited for not having a license and was arrested for the warrant. He was detained without bail. Both vehicles had to be towed, due to significant damage.
