A Riddle man was jailed by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and charged with a parole violation and for a warrant on Monday.

A DCSO report said at about 10:15 a.m. the 28-year old suspect was seen standing at the corner of First Street and E Street. The deputy knew he had a warrant. The suspect ran inside the property but eventually came outside and was taken into custody.

The man was detained on $1,250 bail.
