Roseburg Police arrested a Myrtle Creek man for multiple charges including DUII and drug violations on Friday morning.

According to an RPD report, officers made a traffic stop in the 1900 block of West Harvard Avenue around 12:45 a.m. During the stop, an officer reportedly thought the driver was operating the vehicle while impaired. The man agreed to a field sobriety test and allegedly performed poorly.

After taking the man into custody, officers conducted a search of the vehicle and allegedly located an open alcohol container and a black safe that contained a large bag of Fentanyl, numerous small plastic bags and two scales.

The man was taken to Douglas County Corrections where he reportedly provided a breath sample and was over the legal limit.

He was charged with DUII, unlawful possession of Fentanyl, unlawful delivery of Fentanyl, violating a speed limit and violation of open container law. He’s being held without bail.
