A Winchester man was arrested by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office following an alleged trespass incident early Sunday.

A DCSO report said at 4:45 a.m. the 27-year old, was allegedly intoxicated and tried to get into the wrong apartment in the 100 block of Village Drive. The victim reportedly told the suspect that he was at the wrong place and to leave, at least 20 times in a 10-minute period.

A deputy contacted the suspect, who had an active warrant for his arrest. He was taken into custody due to the warrant, and was cited and released for second-degree criminal trespass. The man was held without bail.
