Roseburg Police jailed a man following a foot pursuit early Wednesday.

An RPD report said at 4:10 a.m. 34-year old Justin McCall was allegedly seen trespassing on two properties in the 200 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard. McCall allegedly initially gave a false name and was non-compliant, but finally admitted to being on parole with an active warrant.

Officers attempted to detain the suspect but he took off running. McCall eventually gave up and was taken into custody without incident. His warrant was confirmed and a taser was allegedly found in his possession during a consent search. McCall was interviewed as the suspect in a stolen vehicle case as well. He was charged with being a felon in possession of a restricted weapon, giving false information to a police officer, unauthorized use of a vehicle and for the warrant.

McCall was detained without bail.
