Power restoration is slowly progressing for crews with the Douglas Electric Cooperative.
Following the wind storm early in the week, 327 meters in rural Douglas County are still without power.
Assistant General Manager Phil Bigler said a contract crew is on-site in the Loon Lake area. Other crews will resume work early Friday. Bigler said 154 meters are out of the Reedsport substation, with most of those being in the Tenmile Lake area. The next sizeable outage is 94 meters out of the Scottsburg substation. Smaller outages affecting a few dozen meters each are out of the Gardiner and Drain substations. A handful of meters are out of the Elkton and Melrose substations.
Bigler said an additional contract crew will join restoration efforts on Friday.
