Roseburg Police jailed a man Friday night for a prior case of first-degree harassment.

An RPD report said on October 27th officers learned the 66-year-old went outside the scope of a martial arts training drill when he bent the victim over, pinned her head between his thighs and slapped her on the buttocks twice with both of his hands. Officers interviewed witnesses and developed probable cause to arrest the man.

Just before 6:15 p.m. Friday the suspect was contacted at his residence, placed into custody without incident and transported to corrections. Bail was set at $62,50. The man was released later in the day.
