Roseburg businesses, nonprofit organizations and governmental entities can apply for funding through the City of Roseburg’s Fall Tourism Grant Program.
A city release said grants of up to $7,500 are available to support projects and events that attract visitors to Roseburg and the surrounding area. The program is funded through hotel and motel lodging taxes collected within Roseburg.
Applications will be evaluated based on factors including whether a proposal promotes Roseburg as a destination and attracts visitors from more than 50 miles away, encourages overnight stays or generates local business revenue, provides broad community benefits and supports regional tourism, demonstrates innovation, partnerships or a proven positive tourism impact; and supports lasting assets or advances the city’s equity and inclusion goals.
Applications are due by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 30th. Awards are competitive and subject to available funding.
