In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:

Myrtle Creek’s Music in the Park continues Thursday night at Millsite Park.

Celebrating its 39th year, it is Douglas County’s longest running free summer concert series.

This week, blues music from Broadway Phil & The Shouters will be featured from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Attendees should bring lawn chairs or blankets. Food vendors are available on-site and nearby. Dogs are welcome if kept on a leash and cleaned up after.

The series will conclude next Thursday with the Moon Mountain String Band & Instrument Petting Zoo.

Concerts are coordinated by the Myrtle Creek-Tri City Area Chamber of Commerce.
