Roseburg Police jailed a woman for depositing trash within 100 yards of the water early Tuesday morning.

An RPD report said just after 2:15 a.m. the 24-year-old was contacted near a group of transient camps at Gaddis Park in the 800 block of Northwest Highland Street. She had a large pile of belongings and trash approximately 20 yards from the South Umpqua River. She was placed under arrest without incident. Bail was set at $2,500.
