DEPUTIES JAIL MAN FOR POSSESSION OF A STOLEN VEHICLE

Deputies with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office jailed a man for possession of a stolen vehicle on Thursday.

A DCSO report said just before 12:15 p.m. a deputy observed a Jeep and discovered that it had been stolen from Grants Pass. The vehicle stopped in the parking lot of a business in the 200 block of Pacific Avenue in Glendale. Dispatch confirmed that the vehicle was stolen and the driver was taken into custody without incident. He was detained without bail. The 40-year-old from Glendale was also cited for not having an operator’s license.

A towing company recovered the vehicle.
