A driver whose vehicle was hit was taken to the hospital on Monday afternoon.

A Roseburg Police report said at 5:40 p.m. officers responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Northwest Stewart Parkway and Northwest Aviation Drive. Officers learned that both vehicles were traveling west on Stewart Parkway when the first driver got into an argument with a passenger in the vehicle, who exited prior to the crash.

The driver stated she was in the left lane and looked over her shoulder, then abruptly moved into the right lane, colling with the second vehicle. The driver in the second vehicle was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center by ambulance with an apparent head injury.

The driver who caused the wreck with cited for making an unsafe and unsignaled lane change. Both vehicles were damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
