High pressure continues in the Umpqua Valley with afternoon high temperatures generally warmer than normal for the next week.
Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that highs will stay in the mid 80’s on Thursday and Friday. A trough coming through the region will drop the highs to around 80 degrees on Saturday. Forecasters said highs will warm back up starting Sunday, peaking in the mid 90’s on Monday.
The mercury reached 86 degrees on Wednesday at the Roseburg Regional Airport. The normal high for this week in June is around 77 degrees.
