The Winston City Council will meet Monday night.

Councilors will first meet as the Winston Urban Renewal Agency and will hold a public hearing and consider approval of the agency’s 2026-2027 budget.

During the council meeting, councilors will consider an agreement with the Douglas Interagency Narcotics Team. They will vote on an ordinance placing a permanent moratorium on the issuance of new and additional marijuana business licenses in compliance with Oregon House Bill 4121. This relates to the population of the city. The council will also consider an ordinance that makes changes to the structure of the park board.

Other items are on the agenda. The meetings begin at 7:00 p.m. in the council chambers on Northwest Douglas Boulevard.
