Roseburg Police jailed a man for a warrant on Thursday evening.

An RPD report said just before 8:00 p.m. officers observed the 59-year-old in a parking lot near the intersection of Northwest Dogwood Street and Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard. While in the area, officers learned the man’s license in Oregon was revoked and he had a valid warrant for his arrest. Officers observed the man’s vehicle back out of the parking lot, onto the roadway, and then pulled back into the parking lot.

Officers contacted the man and detained him. Dispatch confirmed the warrant and his driving status. Bail was set at $6,250. The man was also cited for driving uninsured and failure of a previous violator to file.
