A dry trend is expected in the Umpqua Valley starting Saturday.
Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that the low-pressure system that has been over the region will make way for high pressure and steadily increasing temperatures through Tuesday. By Sunday temperatures will be at seasonal norms then will peak at nearly fifteen degrees above normal on Tuesday – reaching into the mid to upper 80s. Next Wednesday and Thursday will stay above normal but will back down to around 80 degrees.
