Roseburg Police jailed a man after he allegedly ran from officers on Wednesday afternoon.

An RPD report said shortly after 3:00 p.m. officers contacted 40-year-old Kenneth Ranck Calderon at Champion Car Wash Field in the 1100 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway for failure to report to his probation officer. Caldron was told he was under arrest and reportedly took off running in the northbound lane of Stewart Parkway. Officers caught up to Caldron after about twenty away and struggle ensued. He was eventually taken to the ground and detained.

Caldron was charged with third-degree escape, resisting arrest, second-degree disorderly conduct and a parole violation. Bail was set at $6,250.
