POTENTIAL FOR LIGHT MOISTURE THROUGH EARLY FRIDAY, THEN WARMING

The Umpqua Valley has the potential for light moisture through early Friday, before more typical weather patterns take over, leading to gradually warming temperatures through early next week.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that afternoon high temperatures will cool several degrees for Friday and Saturday before warming back to the low to mid 70’s on Sunday, and into the 80’s starting on Monday. Forecast models for Tuesday vary widely but high temperatures of near 90 degrees are possible, which would be hottest temperature for 2026 so far.

Wednesday’s high temperature at the Roseburg Regional Airport was 73 degrees. 0.01 inches of moisture was measured.
