Roseburg Police cited a woman for depositing trash within 100 yards of water or in water and for prohibited camping early Tuesday morning.

An RPD report said just after 12:00 a.m. officers contacted the 68-year-old at the duck pond in the 1000 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard where she was camping. Her camp consisted of a bedroll, walker, multiple plastic bags, empty food containers, empty beverage containers and papers. She had no prior convictions so was cited in lieu of custody.
