A Winter Weather Advisory continues through 5:00 a.m. Thursday above 4,000 feet in the high South-Central Cascades in Douglas, Jackson and Klamath counties.
Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford said total snow accumulations of 4 to 12 inches are expected. Winds will gust as high as 45 miles per hour over high and exposed terrain.
The Advisory area includes Crater Lake, Diamond Lake and Crescent Lake. It applies to passes on highways 230, 138 and 58.
Forecasters said travel may be difficult and there may be delays. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday morning and evening commutes. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.
