Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged disturbance on Monday evening.

An RPD report said just after 8:00 p.m. officers contacted a victim regarding an incident involving a 30-year-old which had taken place in the 500 block of Northeast Hewitt Avenue. The victim explained that the man had thrown a full can of soda at her, hitting her in the head. The woman had a small bump and red mark and there was soda on the couch and nearby other items.

The suspect was contacted later in the evening and taken into custody. He was charged with harassment and a parole violation. The man was detained on $2,500 bail.
