Crews with the Douglas Forest Protective Association in conjunction with the Tenmile and Camas Valley Rural Fire departments responded to the Wilson Creek Fire early Saturday morning.

The fire was located along Coos Bay Wagon Road in the area of Iverson Memorial Park.

DFPA Business Manager Jill Miller said two squads and an engine from DFPA along with engines and a tender from Tenmile and Camas Valley were on scene. Miller said the fire was listed at 3 acres and fully trailed as of 9:00 a.m. Saturday. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
