The Friends of the Umpqua Valley Police K9 Programs will hold its annual “K9s Unleashed” event on Sunday, May 18th.

It will be held at the Douglas County Speedway at the fairgrounds, beginning at 2:00 p.m. This year’s fundraiser is partially sponsored by the Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Tribe of Indians and the Lotus Media companies. The family-friendly event is free to the public, but pets are not allowed.

Multi agency teams will provide demonstrations, pursuits, obstacles and more. A limited supply of event t-shirts, sweatshirts and little plushie K9s will be on sale.
