A Glide man was jailed after attempting to flee from a traffic stop on Sunday evening.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 6:45 p.m. 36-year-old Dylan Prudhomme was stopped near the intersection of Northeast Hewitt Avenue and Northeast Carolyn Court in Roseburg and attempted to flee into a nearby apartment. Prudomme was stopped before he could shut the door and was taken into custody.

He was charged with attempting to elude police on foot, driving while suspended or revoked and for a parole violation. Prudhomme was detained without bail.
