Roseburg Police jailed a man for driving while suspended-misdemeanor, and for a failure to appear warrant early Friday.
An RPD report said at approximately 12:15 a.m. officers stopped the 55-year-old for traffic violations near the intersection of Southeast Cobb Street and Southeast Roberts Avenue. During the contact, the officer learned that the driver had a warrant for his arrest, as well as that his driver’s license was suspended at the misdemeanor level.
The man was taken into custody without incident and transported to corrections. His vehicle was left parked at the scene. He was charged with two counts of driving while suspended and for the warrant. The man was detained on $18,750 bail.
