A Canyonville woman was jailed for possession of a stolen vehicle on Friday evening.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 5:15 p.m. a deputy located a stolen pickup near the intersection of Highway 99 South and Speedway Road in the Green District and attempted a traffic stop.

The driver, a 32-year-old woman, pulled over and was taken into custody without incident. During the investigation, she was reportedly found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine. At the jail, 1.13 grams of suspected meth was reportedly located in her bra. She was detained without bail and was released on Sunday.
