One vehicle crashed on Interstate 5 with the weather being an apparent factor on Sunday night.
An Oregon State Police report said at 5:50 p.m. troopers responded to the accident in the northbound lanes of the freeway about a mile and a half south of the Winston exit. A sports car had left the roadway and struck a section of guardrail, causing damage to the rail and 10 traffic posts.
The driver advised that he was traveling at approximately 65-miles-per hour when his vehicle hydroplaned due to standing water on the road. No injuries were sustained. A towing company responded to pickup the vehicle.
