Roseburg Police cited two people for prohibited camping in separate incidents over the weekend.

An RPD report said Saturday morning just after 6;00 a.m. officers contacted a 58-year-old outside a business in the 500 block of Northeast Winchester Street. The man reportedly had a camp set up on the front porch of that location.

Sunday just after 12:00 p.m. officers contacted a 40-year-old at his camp near the riverbank in the 500 block of Northeast Stephens Street. His camp consisted of a large tent with various items including a tarp that was tied to multiple trees. His camp was found to be in violation of the time, place and manner ordinance.

Both people were released after being issued citations.
