In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:

Umpqua Actors Community Theatre is presenting a baseball comedy in February which is called Rounding Third.

In this comedy, two Little League coaches form an uneasy alliance for the benefit of the team. A season of victories and defeats forces the two mean to battle over how to lead the team. The audience becomes the team as the coaches speak directly to them about competition, character, punctuality, and the importance of wearing the right equipment. Out of these conflicting philosophies on coaching, the real issues of the play emerge: How should we raise our children?

Rounding Third is a two-person show with Bob Moreland and Brian Prawitz.

It will be on stage February 6th through the 23rd. Tickets go on sale this Friday and can be purchased at www.uact-theatre.com or by calling 673-2125. Tickets are $17 for adults.

The production is recommended for audiences age 13 and older, due to mild language.
