Three transients were arrested following an overnight burglary early Monday.
A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 2:50 a.m. a victim said he could see multiple people on the cameras on his property in the 2000 block of Buckhorn Road in the Dixonville area.
The victim said he observed the suspects unlock the gate to his property and go through the gate. The victim said no one should be on the scene, or using his property.
Deputies responded and located 35-year-old Caleb Anderson and 32-year-old Trinity Coulombe near a pickup. They were detained and the rest of the property was searched for 23-year-old Kael Marshall, who is the owner of the vehicle. Deputies were not able to locate the third suspect.
Both Anderson and Coloumbe allegedly had methamphetamine on their persons, which was seized as evidence. Anderson had two warrants for his arrest, which were confirmed. Both were charged with second-degree counts of burglary and criminal trespass, and unlawful possession of meth.
Later in the day, Kael Marshall was located and taken into custody. He was reportedly found to have a pistol concealed on his person and a small bag of meth in a pocket. During an interview, Marshall reportedly confirmed that he and Anderson had gone into a warehouse on the property and removed some items from inside. He was charged with second-degree burglary, unlawful possession/concealment of firearms and unlawful possession of meth. All were detained without bail.
