An Oakland man was jailed for an alleged harassment incident on Saturday night.
A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said just after 11:00 p.m. a deputy responded to an alleged physical disturbance involving the 50-year and a victim in the 500 block of Prescott Avenue in Oakland.
The deputy learned the man had reportedly pushed and shoved a juvenile victim while trying to fight with an adult victim. During the investigation, the suspect allegedly interfered with the deputy who was trying to detain him. He was later taken into custody for harassment and interfering with a police officer. The man was detained without bail and was released on Monday.
