Light rain that had been expected didn’t materialize on Wednesday with no precipitation measured at the Roseburg Regional Airport.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that moisture remained south of the Sexton Summit. In contrast to the Umpqua Valley, the Medford Airport received .19 inches of rain.

Highs only in the upper 50’s with light showers are forecast for Roseburg Thursday with .10 inches of rain likely. Sunshine and warmer temperatures are slated to be back for Friday and Saturday before a couple of days of potential moisture Sunday and Monday.
