The Paul Morgan Observatory at Umpqua Community College will have its final public stargazing event of 2024 on Friday night from 6:30 p.m., to 8:00 p.m.

Attendees of all ages can join UCC astronomers to see a new comet and more. Bring folding chairs or blankets to watch on the outdoor screen. Parking is limited to handicapped only near the observatory, but ample parking can be found near the Technology Building with a short walk up the hill. The event is dependent on clear skies.
