Roseburg Police cited a man for eluding police on a small go-kart on Thursday.

An RPD report said an officer had attempted to stop 32-year old Riley Huskey as he turned from Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard onto Northwest Ellan Street. Huskey reportedly continued into Roseburg Memorial Gardens and onto the bike path.

At 4:30 p.m. he was located in his camp standing next to the go-kart. Huskey eventually admitted to the crime. He was cited for a felony count of attempt to elude, reckless driving and for a violation count of driving while suspended. Huskey was released, due to his cooperation.
