Highway 38 remains closed six miles west of Drain Wednesday following a semi crash early in the morning.

Information from the Oregon Department of Transportation said this will be an extended closure situation and is expected to last into the afternoon.

An ODOT update said crews are cleaning up spilled fuel and removing vehicles that are blocking the roadway.

Both lanes of the highway are shutdown. Drivers should plan to use alternate routes. For updates, go to www.tripcheck.com
