A Sutherlin woman says her flip flop caused her to lose control of her vehicle and crash into a parked car in Sutherlin on Friday night.

The Sutherlin Police Department reports that the 41-year-old woman claims her flip flop got stuck to the peddle causing her to crash into a parked vehicle on Opal Street just before 7 p.m.

No injuries were reported and no charges were filed.
