It will be held in-person at the Aviva Health classroom and teaching kitchen or through a satellite location in Elkton. A virtual option will continue to maintain access for those living outside the local area or with transportation barriers or mobility impairments. Since the launch of the virtual option, participants have tuned in from southeast Asia, Africa, Europe, Canada, across the country regionally and from around Douglas County.

Since starting in 2015, the Lifestyle and Nutrition course has served 3,421 participants. Many of those people have reported making health transformations, according to UCVEG .

Over 80 doctors, medical providers and partners around the county are referring their patients to the course as a preventative measure and means to address the root causes of illness that many are affected by here in Douglas County.
