Roseburg School District has rescheduled its Winter Gathering community engagement event for 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. next Monday night in the Roseburg High School Student Center.

Communications Coordinator Chelsea Duncan said the event, originally scheduled for February 28th, was postponed due to weather-related school closures. Duncan said pre-registrations for book giveaways will be honored for the new date.

A release said the goal of the event is to provide families, students, school staff and community members with the opportunity to talk about their hopes and dreams for Roseburg students and schools. This feedback will help guide the district’s efforts to ensure all students receive the care, support and instruction needed to graduate from high school with plans for their most successful futures.

The event is supported by The Ford Family Foundation and is open to all ages. There will be free dinner and refreshments along with engagement activities, free resources and books, a photo booth and more.
