Deputies with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office jailed a Tenmile man following an alleged assault incident Saturday night.

A DCSO report said just before 7:15 p.m. a caller said they had been involved in a disturbance with a 57-year on man in the 600 block of Tenmile Valley Road. The woman said she had been thrown to the ground, possibly breaking her wrist. The incident was allegedly witnessed by a friend.

When deputies arrived, the suspect had left the area but was contacted later in Roseburg and arrested. He was charged with 4th-degree assault and for violation of a release agreement. The man was detained without bail.
