The Roseburg Warming Center plans to reopen sometime in the middle of next week when lower overnight temperatures are forecast.

The National Weather Service is forecasting the potential for snow to just above the valley floor level on Wednesday night, with a low in the upper 20s. It is anticipated to get even colder on Thursday and Friday nights.

While specifics have yet to be determined, warming center operator Kimetha Stallings of Onward Roseburg is seeking volunteers to help with laundry before the facility, located at the Roseburg Senior Center at 1614 Southeast Stephens Street, is back in operation.
