Roseburg Police cited a Dixonville man due to an alleged outdoor burning incident on Wednesday morning.

An RPD report said just after 9:15 a.m. officers spotted and extinguished a campfire next to an unattended camp in the 500 block of Northeast Stephens Street. The officers returned later to find the 39-year old who reportedly left the fire unattended and cited him for a city ordinance violation.

He was released after the citation was issued.
