Umpqua Community College’s explore UCC event is happening for the first time since 2019.

A college release said it will take place March 1st from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and will highlight activities and opportunities for career growth through education. It will connect students with businesses in the fields of engineering, forestry, forest products, natural resources, science, math, automotive, welding and computer science.

Elementary, middle school, high school, and current UCC students will be able to experience hands-on activities, robots, and science exhibits. Food will be provided as well. The event is free to the community.
