The Umpqua Valley Home Builders Association will have the Home & Garden Show March 3rd, 4th and 5th at the Douglas County Fairgrounds.
A release said over 100 experts specializing in making project ideas come true will be at the annual event. That includes builders, contractors, remodelers and landscapers. There will be in-booth presentations, door prizes and demonstrations.
Friday those attending can visit all 6 sponsor booths and get their Passport stamped for a chance to win a two-night stay in a fireside cabin at Diamond Lake Resort. The winner will be announced when the show closes on Sunday.
On Saturday, local schools will compete in a build-off challenge. All furniture will be silently auctioned at the show. Proceeds raised will go back to each participating school. Saturday is also Family Day with a primary focus on reaching out to families looking for home and outdoor projects.
Sunday, Seniors and Veterans get into the show for free.
Show hours are 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday and 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Admission is $5, or $4 with 1 can of food to help the United Community Action Network.
