SUTHERLIN WOMAN JAILED FOLLOWING PURSUIT

A Sutherlin woman was jailed following a pursuit on Sunday night.

A Roseburg Police report said at 11:45 p.m. an officer attempted to stop a vehicle as it was allegedly seen driving at a high rate of speed up the hill on Northeast Stephens Street. The driver fled, but after a short pursuit was contacted in the parking lot of a business in the 300 block of West Harvard Avenue.

32-year Corbin Christy allegedly showed signs of impairment. A search warrant was granted for a blood draw. Christy was charged with attempting to elude in a vehicle, DUII-alcohol, reckless driving and recklessly endangering another person. She was detained without bail.
