Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged DUII incident on Monday afternoon.

An RPD report said just after 4:10 p.m. officers responded to the intersection of Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard and Northeast Jackson Street where an eastbound pickup had stopped in the lane. Officers contacted the driver who was allegedly visibility intoxicated to the point that he could not stand up without assistance. Officers attempted to perform standard field sobriety tests but the 46-year old was reportedly unable to do so.

He was taken into custody and transported to Corrections. A search warrant was obtained and served, for a sample of his blood. He was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants, reckless driving and for the violation of refusing a breath or blood test. The man was held without bail and was released Tuesday morning.
