In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:

“Fluid Arrangements”, the work of southwestern artist Paho Mann, is on display through March 16th in The Art Gallery at Umpqua Community College.

Mann, an associate art professor at the University of North Texas, creates his art by combining traditional photographic approaches with three-dimension scanning to construct abstract arrangement scenes. Using hundreds of still photographs, the art builds 3D models using photogrammetry software.

Mann said his use of present and cutting-edge technologies to observe and transform the world is central to his investigation as an artist.

Gallery hours are weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Admission is free.
