A Roseburg woman was cited for littering in or near waters by Roseburg Police on Tuesday night.

An RPD report said at 11:00 p.m. the 53-year old suspect was contacted in a tent under the Washington Street Bridge, in the 400 block of Southeast Spruce Street. Officers said she had trash scattered around her tent and into the South Umpqua River, twenty feet away. She was released after being given the citation.
