Roseburg Police jailed a man for alleged trespass and theft Saturday afternoon.

An RPD report said just after 2:45 p.m. the 48-year was contacted on railroad property in the 2500 block of Northeast Stephens Street. He was contacted after allegedly committing a theft from a nearby organization. The man was charged with first-degree criminal trespass and for third-degree theft. Other charges were added.

Bail was set at $3,500.
