The driver was taken to the hospital following a single vehicle wreck early Thursday.

A report from Oregon State Police said shortly after 4:00 a.m. a sedan was westbound on Highway 138W about 7 miles west of Sutherlin when the driver lost control. The vehicle went off the south side of the roadway. It struck a tree, rolled over and came to rest on its top facing in a southerly direction. The driver did not have cell service to report the accident.

He was picked up by family and later transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
