ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOR ALLEGED DAMAGE TO PARK RESTROOMS

Roseburg Police jailed a man early Thursday, for alleged prior damage to restrooms at Gaddis Park, in the 800 block of Northwest Highland Street.

An RPD report said on Monday, 34-year old Michael Stratton allegedly forced open a door to one of the park’s restrooms and caused extensive damage inside. He was contacted at 4:30 a.m. Thursday and admitted to the crime. During his arrest, methamphetamine was reportedly found in his possession.

Stratton was charged with second-degree burglary, first-degree criminal mischief and for unlawful possession of meth. Stratton was detained without bail.
